Northumberland Court

Northumberland Court is a grade II listed building which was opened in 1887 under the name of "Hull Municipal Charities". It was purpose built for the provision of Almshouses and originally contained 101 bedsits. Today Northumberland Court holds 58 modernised self-contained flats, set in landscaped gardens close to Hull city centre.

Northumberland Court offers a home for people who wish to live independently but with the peace of mind that help is at hand if needed. There is a Warden who works on site during office hours and a mobile warden service at all other times. Intercom and pull chords are fitted in every flat as well as a security access system for entry to the building. An Estate Supervisor is also employed to oversee day to day repairs on site.

Other facilities include a guest room, laundry, private car park, community room, lifts to first floor and disabled access throughout.
